Keith Lees

Keith has been in quantity surveying for 35 years, whilst pondering what he will do when he grows up, commencing with 5 years as a trainee in England prior to emigrating to Australia in 1972, followed by 11 years in Sydney (7 years with Rider Hunt and 4 years in his own practice). In 1983 Keith moved to Adelaide on a 3 month contract and 20 years later is still there (9 years as office manager/director with Cameron & Middleton, now Currie & Brown, and 11 years in his own practice).

Keith lives in the Adelaide square mile with his wife and three daughters who keep leaving home and coming back again, and his interests outside work include travel and trekking to obscure places, spending time with family and friends, drinking the odd glass of red wine and following the turbulent fortunes of Manchester City.

Adrian Ames

After thoroughly enjoying his extended university career as a student, Adrian joined the real world as a qualified quantity surveyor in 1988. After spending 2 years in South Africa with Farrow Laing & Partners, greener pastures beckoned and an offer of an expatriate two year contract to move north to Botswana was accepted.

This initial two year contract with Kille & Dannhauser was so enjoyable that before long the two years became 10. During this time Adrian and his wife Gail managed to have two children, Sarah and Joshua.

In 2001 it was decided that working and living in Africa had run its course and the Ames's decided to emigrate to Adelaide, Australia, where Adrian took up a position with Lees Cadman.

Adrian now lives in Adelaide with his young family, who are slowly assimilating into the Australian way of life. Outside of the workplace, interests include spending time with family, travel, outdoor life and following sport, with the emphasis on soccer, rugby and cricket.
